Draft — needs legal review. This describes the data the app actually collects today, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and does not yet address India's DPDP Act obligations (notably verifiable parental consent for users under 18, which applies to much of this app's audience).

1. What we collect

  • Account details — your email address, and if you sign in with Google, the name and profile photo Google shares with us.
  • Profile information you provide — display name, grade level, target exam, city/state, preferred language, per-subject difficulty ratings, and an avatar if you upload one.
  • Practice activity — questions served, answers submitted, whether they were correct, time taken, sessions, mastery and revision scheduling data, and your notes, checklists, and scheduled tests.
  • Feedback — thumbs up/down ratings you give on AI explanations, stored with a copy of the text you rated.

2. How we use it

Your activity data drives the core product: choosing which question to serve next, tracking mastery per topic, scheduling revision, producing progress charts and weekly summaries, and generating explanations. We also use aggregate, non-identifying information to improve question quality and the app itself.

3. Third parties we share with

  • Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Vercel — hosts and serves the application.
  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • AI providers (currently Google Gemini) — when you request an explanation or a weekly summary, the relevant question text or a summary of your recent performance is sent to generate a response.

We do not sell your personal data or share it with advertisers.

4. Security

Access to your data is enforced at the database level: you can only read and write your own rows. Answer keys and grading run server-side so they cannot be read or tampered with from the browser. Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.

5. Retention

We keep your account and practice history for as long as your account exists, because your progress data is the product. If you delete your account, associated personal data is removed, though anonymised aggregate statistics may be retained.

6. Your choices

You can edit your profile at any time, change or remove your avatar, delete notes and practice sessions, and request deletion of your account. You can also switch AI explanations between English and Hinglish, or simply not use the AI features.

7. Children

Much of our audience is under 18. If you are under 18, please use the Service only with a parent or guardian's consent and involvement. If you believe a child has registered without appropriate consent, contact us and we will address it.

8. Contact

For privacy questions or deletion requests, write to the contact address published by PrepCelerator. See also our Terms of Service.
